Daphne Lam Bogle

Daphne Bogle, age 66 of Gatesville, passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 in Gatesville.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel.

Daphne Lam Bogle was born on June 13, 1954 in Gatesville, to H.M. and the late Loy Adkison Lam.  She grew up and attended school in Gatesville, where she excelled in track and basketball.  She graduated from Gatesville High School in 1972.  She worked for T.D.C.J. in Gatesville for several years, until moving to Granbury.  She resided in Granbury for 30 years, where she worked for over 10 years at Broadway Express.  She was a loving mother who never met a stranger and helped anyone in need.  She moved back to Gatesville in 2015.

She was preceded in death by her mother in 2015 and a brother, Marshall Lam in 1986.

She is survived by her father, H.M. Lam; daughters, Marsha Bogle and husband, Paul, Rachel Billey, sons, Finace Bogle and wife, Renee, Cade Shoaf; brothers, Mark Lam and wife, Lola Ann, Buddy Lam and wife, Brenda; nine grandchildren, Carissa, Zachary, Avery, Christian, Kennah, Ian, Kyle, Luke and Haven Rae.  She also leaves behind her cherished dogs, Mutt-Mutt and Diesel.
