Deborah June Tatum

Deborah June Tatum, age 68 of Oglesby, passed away on February 27, 2025, surrounded by family. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 5, at Davidson Cemetery in Gatesville.

 Deborah was born on May 24, 1956, in Avondale, Louisiana to the late Horace Wade Sims and Lillie Claudette Hosner. Later in life she moved to Waco and started her family. In 1994, Deborah married the love of her life, Ted Tatum, and they settled in Coryell County. Deborah was a caregiver who loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved to spend time camping, sewing and listening to music. 

 Deborah was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Ted Tatum; children, Deborah Ann Tatum, Travis Tatum and wife, Kelly, Ghueno Morgan, Luther Morgan and wife, Jocelyn, and James Tatum, and wife, Karie; mother, Patricia Sims; brothers, Kenneth Sims and Steve Sims; sisters, Perri Ferguson, Darla Saux, and Vicki Hotard; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
