His passion and love of music still lives on and influences all of his children today. From a young age, he began working at his parent’s gas & grocery store and later worked for H.E.B for many years. In 1983, he married his soul mate, Carolyn Thiele Richardson, and the two of them built a beautiful, blended family life together. He worked for the City of McGregor water department, where he retired in 2005. He enjoyed working in his yard gardening, camping and spending time with family and friends.
