Dennis Myers

Dennis Myers, age 79 of Gatesville, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 in Waco.

Dennis Gene Myers was born on December 7, 1944 in Evansville, Indiana.  He was the son of the late George and Alma Elizabeth Cullivan Myers. He entered the United States Army and served in Vietnam, retiring as a Staff Sgt. in 1985.   He owned and operated D’s Auto Service in Killeen for seven years as well as working at several body shops in the Killeen area.  

Dennis was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and good friend to many.  He was a Patriot and loved his country.  He enjoyed car shows and “Rod Runs” and loved his 42 Plymouth, 48 Ford F6 COE, 52 Ford F3 truck and 67 Ford Ranchero.  Dennis loved his family, pets and enjoyed his poker friends, Joe Don, Rusty and Mike.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Nancy Myers, daughter, Dawn Marie Kelley and husband Brian; son, David Michael Myers and wife Cindy; stepson, Benjamin R. Craft and wife Jill; brother, George Michael Myers; and grandchildren, Brody Myers, Noah Kelley, Jonathan Craft and girlfriend, Dani; and Sarah Craft.
