Dillan Kayde Holmes

Dillan Kayde Holmes, age 24 of Gatesville, died suddenly on April 28, 2024. 

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17, at Scott's Funeral Home with Wray Nunn officiating.

Dillan was born in Killeen, Texas to Jamie and Perry Holmes. He attended school in Gatesville ISD. Dillan was very outgoing and had the funniest sense of humor. He was constantly pranking people and making jokes. He loved being around his family and friends and enjoyed family BBQs. For Dillan, any day was a great day to be at the creek. He will be truly missed by everyone who loved him.

Dillan was preceded in death by his brother, Patrick Holmes; his grandparents, Elra and John Holmes, and Mary and Dennis Suttles; and his aunts, Kathy Suttles and Lucretia Holocker.

Dillan is survived by his parents, Perry Holmes (father), Courtney Long (step-mother), Jamie Holmes (mother) and Kevin Farr (step-father); siblings, Zachary Holmes, Jessica Sjoblom and husband, Blake Palmer, Damon Holmes and wife, Whitney Holmes, Tyler Farr and wife, Jolee Farr, Kegan Holmes, Heather Holmes, Grayson Holmes, Triston Hopkins, Whitney Glover and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
