Edna Beasley Logan

Edna Beasley Logan of Hewitt, TX, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.  Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at Flint Creek Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, October 29, 2018 at the funeral home. Edna was born on December 20, 1935, in Coryell County, to the late John and Grace Neatherlin Beasley. She grew up and attended school in Flat, TX.  Edna married Roy Logan in 1951 at his Grandparents house in the White Hall community of Coryell County.  They spent 62 long years together before he passed in March of 2014.  Edna loved to garden, cooking, and spending time with her family.  Her favorite times were when she was surrounded by her grandkids and great-grandkids. Edna is preceded in death by her parents; husband Roy Alvin Logan. She is survived by her two daughters, Dianne Holiday and husband, Kent of Lees Summit, MO, and Lisa Lucas and husband, Jim of McKinney, TX; sons, Mike Logan and wife Yealonda, of Hondo, NM, and Jeff Logan of McGregor, TX;  and 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
