Ernest Albert Ware

Ernest Albert Ware “Butch”, age 80, of Gatesville, Texas passed away on March 2, 2025. 

Memorial services at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 20.

Butch was born in Pomona, California. He married Pamela Russo in 1966, and they traveled all over the United States and abroad with the military. Butch served ten years in the United States Army, serving as a Sargeant. He had two children, Natalie Ware and Nicholas Ware. Butch loved living on his farm and enjoyed having all of his animals close including his Boxer, Angel, his donkey, Poncho, and all his cats.

Butch is preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth and Howard Ware.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Ware; children, Natalie Kooy and husband, Steven, Nicholas Ware and wife, Nancy Gonzales; and grandchildren, Kaysen and Keira.
