Evelyn Corbett

Evelyn Corbett, age 98 of Evant, passed away Friday, December 8, 2023 at her home with her family by her side.    

Evelyn Marie Corbett was born February 20, 1925 in Bradford, Pennsylvania to the late John and Ruth Munn Gurnot.   She graduated from Bradford High School in 1943. She married George W. Corbett on May 24, 1946 and they were married for 72 1/2 years until his death in 2018.  She was a longtime member of the Christian Biblical Church of God.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Rosetta Quattrone.

Evelyn is survived by her children, Terry Corbett and wife, Janice, two daughters; brother, Donald L. Gurnot; grandchildren, Terry Corbett, Jr, James Corbett, along with four other grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.

Private family interment was held in Evant.
