Fannie Jean Lee

Fannie Jean Lee, age 89 of Gatesville, TX, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 11, 2020 at Restland Cemetery.

Fannie Jean was born on August 8, 1931 in Pittsburg, TX to the late Stella Virginia Latham Reid and Andrew Monroe Reid.  She grew up in Pittsburg and graduated from Pittsburg High School in 1949.  She married her love, best friend and lifelong dancing partner, James Curtis Lee December 19, 1974.  Fannie had a successful career with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in Gatesville. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, James Curtis Lee, her first husband, Billy Jack Hart in 1971; children, Betty Hart, Susan Hart Holder, J. Paul Lee; siblings, Billy Reid, Mattie Coffman and Merle Gattuso.

Fannie Jean is survived by her daughters, Rachel Miller, Jackie Dressan; five grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; nieces, Juanita Coffman Walkup, Tina Gattuso Ross, Tanya J. Stracener; nephews, Henry Coffman, Derrell Coffman, Mike Lee and James Ray Lee,
