Faye Crosson, age 80 of Gatesville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 27, 2025 at Scott’s Funeral Home with Pastor Charles McKamie officiating. Interment at King Cemetery will follow the service. Faye’s family will receive visitors from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
Faye Jean Logan Crosson was born December 15, 1944 to the late Roy and Annie Chambers Logan of Gatesville. She grew up in the Whitehall Community and attended school in both Turnersville and Gatesville. In 1955, at the age of 11, she was saved through Holy Baptism while attending Coryell Valley Church. Faye was a woman of many talents. She worked as a waitress, managed a convenience store, and served as a foster parent for several years. Later in life, she married Paul Crosson and they made their home in Graham, Texas before moving to Breckenridge. After the death of her husband, she moved to Gatesville to be closer to her family. Faye loved to sew, work in her flower garden and was extremely good at playing dominoes. She also enjoyed being outdoors and could always be found working in her yard.
Faye was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul in 2000; and brothers, Willie Monroe Logan, Roy Alvin Logan, and Clifford Wayne Logan; nieces and nephews, Ronald Royce Miller, Delores Logan, and Robert Wayne Logan.
She is survived by her children, Paul Crosson and wife, Beverly, Beth Frailey, and Rebecca Kelly; sister, Jo Ann Paul; grandchildren, Robert, Mikeal, Calie, James, Emily, Shellie, and Shonda; great grandchildren, Kaia, Charlie, Sylvia, Jaycob, Coleton, little Lonnie, Maddie, Amberly, Erin, Katelynn, and Kevin; and nieces and nephews, Jomarra Auge, Gary Thomas Miller, Douglas Dwain Miller, Robert Paul, Paulette Riley, Lonnie Logan, Donnie Logan, Brian Logan, Brenda Logan, Elizabeth Logan, Jessie Lee Logan, Mike Logan, Diane Holiday, Lisa Lucas, and Jeffery Logan.
In lieu of flowers, Faye’s family requests that memorials be made to Our Hospice House, 2608 North Main Street, Ste. B, Box 195, Belton, Texas 76513, or to Bluebonnet Hospice, 307 Londonderry Drive, Waco, Texas 76712.
