Feno Eugene Tippit

Feno E. Tippit, 90, of Flat passed away on Friday, March 23, 2018. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Scott’s Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery. Feno was born on May 5, 1927 in Flat to the late Leslie and Laura Whigham Tippit. He graduated from Flat High School in 1943. On January of 1946, he served in the Army Air Corp for two years. During his time of service, he served with the 1060th in Greensboro, NC and the 308th Airdrome in CA.  Feno married Doirs Jean Walker in 1953. He retired from Civil Service after 37 years on Fort Hood. Feno had a love for electric engineering and would build all kinds of homemade gadgets. He also loved to fly.   Feno was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Barney Tippit, James Tippit; and a sister, Juanita Burton. Feno is survived by his wife, Doris Jean Tippit; son, Michael Lane Tippit; and grandson, Marty Lane Tippit.
