Gary Steven Lee

Gary Steven Lee, Sr., age 76 of Gatesville, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024, in Temple surrounded by family. No services are planned at this time.

Gary was born on December 20, 1947, in Ashtabula, Ohio to the late George Lee and Lois Dolenic. Gary served and retired honorably from the United States Army in 1994 as a patriot missile crew member from Fort Bliss, Texas. He was a Vietnam Veteran and a Gulf War Veteran, receiving the Vietnam Service Medal with 5 service stars. He also received the Kuwait Liberation Medal and numerous Army commendation and achievement medals and awards. After the military, Gary worked for and retired from Red River Army Depot in New Boston, Texas.

Gary is preceded in death by his first wife, Cathy Lee and his second wife Linda Lee, who was the love of his life.

He is survived by his children Katrina Pelkey, and husband, Gerald; Gary Steven Lee, Jr. and wife, Amanda; and Vickie Shipman; grandchildren Katelyn, Brittany, Caleb, Daniel, Sophia, Misty, Brittany, Amber, and Coty; and several great grandchildren.
