George Christopher Hallman

George Christopher Hallman, age 19, passed away on October 22, 2022, in a tragic car accident in Gatesville. George’s life will be remembered and celebrated with a service on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Coryell Community Church in Gatesville, TX.

He was born on November 18, 2002, in Panama City, Florida to Jerry M. “Mike” Hallman, Jr. and Brittany D. (Guthrie) Hallman. George moved to Gatesville with his family at the age of 8 and graduated from Gatesville High School in 2021. George was very enthusiastic about wrestling for Gatesville and helped to establish Gatesville’s wrestling program as captain of the team all four years of high school. He competed for two years at the regional level in UIL wrestling. George was a bright shining light on this earth who brought joy to many. He was loved by everyone who really knew him. He will be missed greatly by all of his family and friends. George was a loving son and brother.

He is survived by his father and mother, Mike and Brittany; his sister, Morgan Hallman Tindell and husband, Jeremy and their daughter, Paisley Dian Tindell; brother, Michael Hallman and fiancé, Maddison McGowan; grandmothers, Dian Guthrie and Christie Hallman; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Jerry Hallman, Sr.

George never met a stranger.
