Gregory Curtis

Gregory Curtis, age 65, of Gatesville, passed away, Wednesday, June 13, 2018.  Graveside services will be 10:00 am, Friday, June 22, 2018 at Restland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm on Thursday at Scott’s Funeral Home.Gregory was born on June 17, 1952 in Chicago, IL to Edward and Ellen Mayerchick Curtis. After high school, he worked for his dad as a field service engineer. Gregory also worked for GE for many years in Kentucky. He had a passion for working with machinery which let him to working in Houston for Champions. He worked there for many years before retiring in 2012. He married Priscilla Hill on May 16, 2008 which was one of the happiest days of his life. In his spare time, he loved to tinker with his guns and old cars. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Curtis; brother-in-law, Richard Lawrence; and his step-son, Jeff Nichols.Gregory is survived by his wife, Priscilla Curtis; mother, Ellen Curtis; son, Aaron Curtis; daughter, Shonna Jabbin and husband, Jerry; brothers, David Curtis, Jack Curtis and wife, Mary; sister, Laura Lawrence, Shelley Mason and husband, Paul; grandchildren, Erin Williams, Jessica Jabben, Gabriel Jabben, Genesis Jabben, Shelbi Smith, Ty Smith, Hunter Nichols; great-granddaughter, Charleigh Collins; and stepchildren, Chrystal Smith and husband, Lonnie and Brian Nichols.
