Guadalupe G. Romero

Guadalupe G. Romero, age 65, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2019 at her home in Gatesville. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Gatesville with burial following at Restland Cemetery. Rosary will be held at 6:00 pm Tuesday at Scott’s Funeral Home.

Guadalupe was born on January 12, 1954 in Mexico. She married Guadalupe P. Romero in 1968 in Mexico. They came to Texas 1979 moving to the Levita area before moving into Gatesville. She enjoyed caring for her family and her grandchildren. Guadalupe was an excellent cook and was known for her homemade Mexican dishes. She was a faithful Catholic and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Guadalupe was preceded in death by her two sons, Guadalupe and Fransico Romero.

Guadalupe is survived by her husband of 52 years, Guadalupe P. Romero; sons, Pedro Romero and wife, Guadalupe, Jose Romero and wife, Christie; daughters, Rafaela Tula and husband Saul, Cristina Hernandez and husband, Javier, Marcela Romero-Gomez and husband, Diego, Margaret Bolanos and husband, Bernardo; 18 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
