Hazel Maude Mack Meyer

Hazel Maude Mack Meyer, age 81, of Gatesville, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 20, 2018.  Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Scott’s Funeral Home. Burial will follow at King Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at the funeral home.Hazel was born on October 3, 1936 in Idlewild, Montana to the late Coral L. Mack and Alfretta Kountz Mack Ofstedal.  She worked for T.Y.C. and T.D.C.J., retiring after 32 years.She was also preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Leo Meyer; son, Kenneth (Kenny) Meyer; brother, Hugh Mack; and step father, Harry Ofstedal.Hazel is survived by her sons, Lee Meyer and wife, Lavon of Goliad, Texas and Donald Meyer and wife, Julie of Gatesville; sisters, Sylvia Trumbo and husband, John of Jordan, Montana, Dorothy Stephenson of Great Falls, Montana; sister-in-law, Beth Mack of Weiser, Idaho; granddaughter, Kristen Sears of Frisco, Texas; grandsons, Lucas Meyer and wife, Taylor of Victoria, Texas, Lyndon Meyer of Victoria, Texas, Slaton Meyer of Conroe, Texas, and Tully Meyer and wife, Haylee of Gatesville, Texas; great-grandsons, Daylon Meyer of Yorktown, Texas, Weston Meyer of Victoria, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.Memorials may be made to Boys and Girls Club, 2533 E.
