Hunter Lathum, age 15 of Livingston, passed away tragically doing something he loved, on Saturday, November 13, 2021.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel in Gatesville, with Pastor Daniel Crowther officiating. Private family interment will be at Restland Cemetery in Gatesville.
Hunter was born on November 22, 2005 in Woodland, California. He grew up in Arbuckle, California and moved to Livingston, Texas in January of this year, with his father and sister. He achieved the ability of being able to graduate early at the age of 16. He had plans of entering the United States Air Force in order to follow his brother, Steven Lathum, Jr.’s footsteps. Hunters’ passions included riding A.T.V.’s, dirt bikes, fishing, camping, shooting and skateboarding. He loved his parents and strived to be a good son. His brothers and sisters were his best friends and he was proud to be an uncle. He was loved by his parents and they were proud to call him their son. Hunter loved all of his family in general, but most of all he loved God. The conversations he had about the scriptures he would read about the Lord, were amazing. He was a genius and loved the book of Genesis, because it’s the introduction to Life.
Hunter is survived by his father, Steven Lathum, Sr.; mother, Amanda Lathum; siblings, Antoinette Reynolds, Anthony Castro, Jasmaine Lathum, Stephanie Lathum, Steven Lathum, Jr., JoAnna Lathum; nieces and nephews, Anastasia, Gunner, Octavia, Eliosa, Everly and Khaleo.
