Jimmy Eugene Maddison

Jimmy Maddison, age 72 of Gatesville, passed away on the evening of June 29, 2021. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 3, 2021at Rose Mound Cemetery in Waco with Pastor Bill Trotter officiating.

Jimmy was born in Waco, to the late Ralph and Juanita Allen Maddison. He grew up and attended school in Waco. Jimmy worked at Baylor University for over 15 years before he went to work for his uncle, Milton Allen. There he spent another 15 years helping paint houses all over the Waco area.  Jimmy and Milton then went on to own and run a donut shop in Waco. Jimmy loved the outdoors and would never pass up a fishing or camping trip. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Ralph Jr., William Harry, Delvin, and Weldon Maddison; grandparents, Jessie and Audrey Allen.

Jimmy is survived by, sisters, Bettye Fletcher, Peggy Beckett; brother, Jackie Maddison; special nephews to Jimmy, Larry Simpson and Anthony Fletcher.
