Karen Paulette Cavanaugh

Paulette Cavanaugh, age 67 of Gatesville, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at a local hospital. 

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 31, 2023 at Gatesville City Cemetery.

Karen Paulette Cavanaugh was born on June 14, 1955 to the late Marion Charles and Bobbie Oneal Archer.  She grew up, and attended school in Houston, before marrying the love of her life, Robert Cavanaugh.  She was a homemaker for most of her adult life but also worked as a home health aide for 15 years while in the Houston area.  In 2020, she moved to Gatesville with her son and enjoyed the change of scenery.

Paulette was a spiritual woman who survived breast cancer, was a soap opera fanatic, and enjoyed traveling.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Gwen Melcer; and great-granddaughter, Kallie Foliart.

Paulette is survived by her daughters, Brandi Kelsey and Lisa Cooper; son, Dylon Nash and wife, Amber Baker; brother, Charles Archer; and grandchildren, Andrew Foliart, Jordan Reese, Brianna Reese, Peyton Cormier, Gage Cormier, and many other relatives and family friends.
