Keith Caldwell

Franklin Keith Caldwell, age 70, passed away Sunday, August 27th, 2023 at his home in Gatesville. 

Memorial services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 8th, 2023, at the Turnersville Community Center. 

Keith Caldwell was born April 22, 1953 in Grapevine, Texas to the late Elmer Ray and Rena Faye Caldwell.  Family and friends always knew him as Keith.  He attended Irving High School and graduated in 1971.  After graduating high school, he joined and served almost three years in the United States Army, serving most of his time in Germany.  After returning from overseas, he married Pamela Sue Bushong on November 9, 1974, and together they had two children.  In 1989, Keith and his family moved to the Turnersville area to be close to other family.  He worked for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice as a Correctional Officer for 17 years before retiring.  Keith was very artistic, having done many drawings in his younger years and using that talent later to draft and design home projects.  He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his grandchildren.  He was a kind soul who would do anything for his loved ones. 

He is survived by his wife of nearly 48 years, Pamela Sue Caldwell; son, Robert Brandon Caldwell and wife, Tamara; daughter, Wendy Nicole Singer and husband, Jacob; and six grandchildren.
