Leonor Aguilar

Leonor Aguilar, age 86 of Oglesby, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 25, 2022 at the Gatesville Church of Christ.  Visitation with Leonor’s family will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 24^th at Scott’s Funeral Home.

Leonor was born on March 2, 1935 in Robstown, Texas to the late Eliso Campos and Victoria Hernandez Campos.  She grew up and attended school in Robstown.  She married Simon L. Aguilar on May 9, 1957.  They moved to Gatesville in 1985.  Her husband preceded her in death in 2009.  She was a member of the Gatesville Church of Christ.

She is survived by her children, Edward Acebedo and wife, Angelica, Luis Aguilar and wife, Mary, Norma Jannise and husband, Michael, Linda Hope and husband, Donny, Tony Aguilar and wife, Edina, Simon Aguilar and wife, Olga, Lisa Ramos and husband, Luis, Jimmy Aguilar and wife, Rosa, Bill Aguilar and wife, Stacy, Amanda Aguilar; brother, Tacho Campos; 25 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Gatesville Church of Christ, 2417 East Main Street, Gatesville, TX 76528.
