Linda Gail Baize

Linda Gail Baize, age 76 of Gatesville, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024 in Gatesville. 

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Restland Cemetery with James Baize officiating. 

Linda was born on November 20, 1947, to Marvin and Marjorie Kelley Baize in Slaton, Texas. She graduated from Turnersville High School in 1966. After high school, she studied at Durham School of Business, and later trained at Scott & White Hospital to begin a career as an operating room technician. 

She enjoyed spending time with her large family and long-time best friend, Debbie Oldham of Wimberly.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Mark Baize. 

She is survived by her sister, Shirley Pearce and husband, Quinton; brother, James Baize and wife, Regina; sister, Marlene White and husband Bob; sister, Garlene Erwin and husband, Rob; ten nieces and nephews, and numerous great nieces and nephews. She called them her babies and they called her “Ninny.”
