While in high school, she enjoyed being involved with the band and made lifelong friends. She married Sammy Cortasie on July 24, 1993 at Bruceville Baptist Church. Lisa was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Everyone that knew her, loved her. She was larger than life, always. Her presence could light up any room with love and laughter. Her sense of humor was one in a million. Lisa could make anyone that interacted with her laugh (a lot). She enjoyed making the world a happier place with her beautiful personality. She was a creative genius in the world of crafting and could make beautiful creations from anything she put her hands on. Lisa spent her whole life putting others before herself. Her unselfish love for others was one of her most wonderful qualities. She was generous beyond measure, and cared deeply and genuinely for every single person in her life. Lisa was married to the love of her life, Sammy, for 25 years and had a beautiful daughter Samantha. Her husband and daughter were the center of her world. There was nothing more important to her than her family. Her nieces and nephews loved "Aunt Leesy". She enjoyed spending time with each and every one of them and spoiling them at Christmas. She was the very best sister to Frank and Debbie, a special relationship between siblings that will be dearly missed and the memories forever cherished.Lisa was baptized at the age of 10 years old with her Daddy on Father's Day in Hurst Springs near Turnersville, Texas. She was a Christian and while her absence will leave an enormous void, her family is comforted knowing she is with our Lord, reaping her reward for a life well lived.Lisa was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Randall Cortasie.Lisa is survived by her husband, Sammy Cortasie; daughter, Samantha Brooks and husband, Josh; parents, Frank and Barbara Williams; In-laws, Sam and Fran Cortasie; siblings, Frank Williams Jr. and wife, Kay, Debbie McDaniel and husband, Geoff; nieces and nephews, RJ Cortasie, Kacie Mighell and husband, Ryan, Colton Williams and wife, Shelby, Kylie Williams, Ethan McDaniel, Emily McDaniel and Ryker Mighell. In Lisa’s memory, please take the time to donate blood at your local blood bank.
