Louise Bredemeyer

Louise Marshall Bredemeyer, age 84 of Gatesville, passed away on the morning of December 21, 2019.

Memorial services are scheduled for ­11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Pat Cole officiating. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

Louise was born on January 4, 1935, to C.W. "Dub" Marshall and Della Mae Barnard Marshall in Coryell County. She grew up in and attended Gatesville schools. Louise was the middle girl of five sisters, Frances, Joan, Louise, Freddie Gayle, and Glenda. She picked cotton in her childhood, taught Sunday School most of her adult life, and also worked multiple jobs from Bessie's Little Store to eventually retiring from Smead, both located in McGregor. She attended First Baptist Church and College Avenue Baptist Church in McGregor, singing in the choir, and helping with vacation Bible school. 

Preceding her in death were her parents, two sisters, Frances Tatum, Joan Knapp; and a son-in-law, Bob Frailey.

Louise is survived by her daughter, Beth Frailey; son, Dell Bredemeyer and wife, Beverly; two sisters, Freddie Gayle Williams and husband, DeWayne, Glenda McCormick; five grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; many nephews, nieces, church families and others.
