Mario Jemal Lee

Mario Jemal Lee, 51, passed away on April 6th, 2020 in Gatesville, Texas. A private family service will be held. Memorial services will be held at 4:30 PM, Friday, June 19, 2020 at the Turnersville Community Center. Mario was born September 22nd, 1968 in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated Salutatorian from Boys Town. He and his wife Maggie were longtime residents of Coryell County. Mario was a well-respected member of the community and employee of HEB. He loved his family, as they loved him. Mario had a very competitive spirit and loved all things basketball. Building fish tanks and collecting different species of fish was one of his favorite hobbies. There are many stories to remember Mario by and everyone that knew him could share one they cherish. Mario was an all-around amazing man and will be missed greatly. Mario is survived by his wife, Maggie; mother-in-law, Sally; brother, Eric; two sisters, Yvette and Terra; seven children; three children-in-law; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Randell and Justine; and a daughter, Jessica.
