Mark Pritchard, age 59 of Gatesville, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 29, 2024, in Waco, Texas at Hillcrest Baylor Scott & White Hospital where he lost his battle to cancer.
Mark lived a life marked with love, laughter, generosity and protection. His heart and love were as big as his smile and his passion for his family and friends held no bounds amongst them. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, friend and mentor to many who knew him and loved him.
He was born on August 4, 1965, in Alton, Illinois and adopted by his parents Norman Eugene Pritchard and Barbara Hull Pritchard Millitello, both preceding him in death.
Mark was a man of INCREDIBLE sarcasm and had a unique gift of finding humor and creating laughs amongst friends and family. He was very sassy with those who knew him and he was not afraid to tell it straight to those who deserved it. His love of riding and laughter brought joy to those around him and was infectious. He had clever jokes and lots of stories to share as well as personal experiences. He was truly a caring person to all who loved and knew him. He loved to experiment and create food for BBQs and always enjoyed being with friends and family, riding with his brothers on his bike and planning riding trips. He worked hard and always provided for his family. He made a lasting impression on everyone he encountered including his coworkers, many friends, and those who loved him. Although his love for his family and friends was evident in every action he did, he found joy in it and his life was far too short for all of us who loved him. Mark will leave behind a legacy of love, kindness, laughter and a sassiness that will forever be cherished by those who knew him.
Mark is survived by his wife, Jennifer Ryan; children, Cynthia Pritchard and wife, Samantha Haus Pritchard, Devin Pritchard, Taylor Pritchard and DeAnna Ryan; grandchildren, Addy and Reese; uncles, Mike Hull and Steve Hull; and numerous other cousins and family members.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and the family asks that you send prayers for them at their time of loss.
