Mike Stevens

Michael George Norman Stevens passed away, December 9, 2022 in Gatesville, Texas. He was born in Killeen, Texas on May 14, 1959 to the late Ronald and Anita Stevens. He grew up in Gatesville and graduated from Gatesville High School. Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Anita Stevens, and brothers, Ronald and Richard Stevens. He leaves behind his brother Steven Stevens; three daughters, Mallory Chelette-Stevens, Ashleigh Stevens, Johnna Najera and husband, Daniel Najera; as well as his grandchildren, Elleigh and Elijah Chelette, Olivia Stevens, Luca, Noah and Remington Najera.

Mike was a man of all trades in multiple areas ranging from the oil field in Odessa to residing in Marble Falls Texas for a short time. He finished his career at Baylor Scott and White in Temple, Texas. Mike loved all things hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He had an infectious laugh and always found a way to crack a joke. He will be missed dearly by his children, grandchildren, brother, and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 28th at 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Faunt Le Roy Park – 609 S. 7^th St., Gatesville, Texas. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you donate to the American Heart Association in memory of Michael Stevens.
