Mildred Foster

Mildred “Mutt” Foster, age 99 of Gatesville, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2020, near family in Ft. Worth.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Scott's Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Joy Fattori officiating.  Private interment will follow at Restland Cemetery.

Mutt was born on July 14, 1920 in Oglesby to the late Cullen and Ethel Everett. She married William E. (Bill)  Foster in 1940.  She kept a home in Gatesville for 80 years and worked all of her professional life on the Gatesville town square.  Living 100 years in Coryell County, Mutt left an impression on all she met. She was best known for her charm, wit and ability to befriend anyone. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1984.  She was a member of the Oglesby First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Annette Campbell; two grandchildren, Jill Jordan and husband, Robert and Paul Campbell; and two great-grandchildren, Everett Jordan and Foster Campbell.
