Myrna L Collins

Myrna L. Collins, age 82, of Eddy, Texas went to be with her heavenly father on October 21st, 2019.  Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, October 25, 2019, at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel, in Gatesville, Texas. Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery, Gatesville, Texas. Visitation will be Thursday, October 24th, from 5 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home. She was born in the Seattle Community of Coryell County, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Charles Wolff and Lela Ballard Wolff. She was raised in Seattle Community and the Flat area.  She attended school in Flat, graduating in 1956.  She married Mr. George Wayne Collins on July 31, 1956.  They moved to Waco in 1959 where she worked as a bookkeeper for advertising and marketing associates for 25 years, retiring in 1987.  She enjoyed traveling, game day, church and spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband George, and several siblings. Myrna is survived by two children, Sherry Collins, and Michael W. Collins and wife Maureen; and she was “Granny” to four grandchildren and six great-
