Nancy Carol Collins

Nancy Carol Lam Collins, age 87, of Waco, passed away August 30, 2021 in Waco. Graveside services are scheduled for 11 AM Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Restland Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Scott’s Funeral Home. Nancy was born May 3, 1934 in Mound, Texas to Thurman Paul Lam and Winnie Opal Looper Lam. She married William David Collins on May 25th 1951. She attended school in Mound, TX and graduated from Flat High School. She attended Durham Business School in Waco, TX. She was a previous member of Mound Baptist Church. She was a current member of First Baptist Church in Robinson, TX. Nancy enjoyed camping, water skiing, drag racing, music and travelling. She enjoyed reading her Bible, going to church, spending time with her family and friends. She was proceeded in death by her parents; husband; brothers and sister, Loyd Fred Lam, Max Terry Lam and Barbara Ann Lam Bruton. She leaves behind daughters, Rhonda Skains and fiancé Charlie Anderson, Kim Allison and husband, Ed; grandchildren, Justin High, Damon High, Nicholas Skains and wife, Amanda, Nathan Skains and Shannon Skains and wife, Asia; and 9 great-grandchildren.
