Norma Jean Flynn age 89, of Hobart, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, July16, 2021, in Gatesville.

Norma Jean Rosson Flynn was born April 10, 1932 in Trent Texas, to the late Sam Arthur Rosson and Odell Meeks Rosson. Norma married James Emmitt Flynn on January 24, 1952 at First Baptist Church in Monahans, Texas. She attended school in Grandfalls, Royalty and Monahans. She went on to attend college at Howard Payne University in Brownwood. She was a pastor's wife and homemaker, who played and taught piano, held Bible studies. She was talented in crafts and made many of her own home accessories and clothes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Odell Rosson; husband, James Emmitt Flynn; son, Danny Flynn; sister, Joy Carmon Lovelace; brothers, James Arthur Rosson and Travis Leon Rosson.

Norma is survived by her nephew, James "Darryl" Rosson and wife, Jackie, Virgil Chapman and wife, Chae; nieces, Pat Osborn and husband, James, Janice Kirksey and husband, Tim, Jeanna Bent and husband, Michael, Kathy Hill and husband, David, Renee Chapman, Karen Volinski and husband, Ed; and sister-in-law, Ann Rosson.
