Paul Haase

Paul Guido Haase, age 91 of Jonesboro, passed away November 13, 2023, in Gatesville. 

Interment will be held at Bullman Cemetery at a later date.

Paul was born September 9, 1932 to Ernest and Hattie Haase in Evant, Texas.  He was one of six children.  He graduated from Jonesboro High School in 1950.  Paul joined the United States Army and was stationed in Germany for one year.  He worked in construction until his retirement.  Paul enjoyed raising cattle and farming his family's land.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters; and sons, Jason Kyle Haase and Paul Wade Haase.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Erna Sommerfeld Haase; daughter, Sharon Akers and husband Mike; daughter-in-law, Peggy Haase; grandchildren, Jennifer Sheek and husband Justin, Jeffrey Akers, Justin Akers and wife Amanda, Allison Haase, Paul Haase, Will Haase, Erica Haase; and great-grandchildren, Wyatt Sheek, and Whitney Sheek.  

In lieu of flowers, Paul's family requests that memorials be made to a charity of your choice.
