Peggy Perez

Peggy Perez, age 63 of Clifton, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022 in Waco.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Restland Cemetery, with Minister Deral McWhorter officiating.  The family will receive visitors from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 30th at Scott’s Funeral Home.

Peggy Aline Perez was born on April 27, 1959 in Winnsboro, Texas to Beulah Aline Stewart Malden and the late Kenneth Malden.  She has resided in Clifton since 1980 and worked for Lutheran Sunset Ministries for 25 years.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, reading, gardening, crafting and helping her sisters with hosting estate sales.

She was preceded in death by her father and a brother-in-law, Norman Perez.

Peggy is survived by her partner of 20 years, Gary French; mother, Beulah Aline Malden; sons, Aaron Perez, Samuel French and partner, Melinda Acosta, Daniel French; daughter, Jennifer Perez and partner, Andy French; sisters, Janell Malden; Debbie Buster and husband, Kenneth (Bubba); brother, Danny Malden and wife, Alice; six grandchildren, Jordan Rodriguez, Lillian French, Aydan French, Gavin French, Taylor French and Madison French.
