After high school he joined the U.S. Army Air Corp and was honorably discharged after serving his duty. He went to work at Dow Chemical until joining the I.B.E.W. in San Jose, CA as an electrician until his retirement in 1997 after working in that capacity for over forty years. Reginald was an avid golfer, hunter, fisherman, pool shooter and all around sportsman. He loved to watch football at all levels, but loved the “Honeymooners”, “All In the Family”, and the “Flintstones” as well. He was also an excellent dancer. He was preceded in death by his parents; wives, Ruth Burglin Brim, Eleanor Savage Brim; son, Reginald Glen Brim; grandson, Ian Harte; and brothers, William and Robert Brim. Reginald is survived by daughters, Kathryne Harte and Rebecca Brim; sons, Thomas, Jerry, and Robert Brim; brother, Henry Brim and sister, Norma Raley; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He loved them all dearly. Also, Debra Mitchell, his long time “Agent 99”, who made sure he was always well taken care of the last 12 years. Reginald was well liked and respected in the community. He treated everyone equally and more than likely would remember your name if you ever met again. Reginald had done a lot of things in his life. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp., raised his six children in San Jose, CA, worked on the Trans Alaskan Pipeline, flew his own plane, and always had a good story to tell. He will be loved and missed by all his family and the many people who have made his life so long and memorable.
