Rhonda Ray Morgan, age 66 of Oglesby, passed away on Saturday, August 07, 2021 in Temple.

The family will receive visitors from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Scott’s Funeral Home in Gatesville.  Rhonda and her family will be escorted to Ater Cemetery by Road Riders for Jesus MM, with anyone wishing to participate at 10:30 a.m. Graveside services will follow at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Pastor Roger West.  The family requests that anyone in attendance be dressed casually.

Rhonda was born on December 5, 1954 in Clifton, to the late R.B. and Patsy Vaden Ray.  She grew up in and around Jonesboro, graduating from Jonesboro High School in 1972.  She graduated from Temple Junior College’s Licensed Vocational Nursing Program in 1977.  She later became an R.N., working as the Director of Nurses at Hillside Nursing and Rehabilitation in Gatesville and Ridgecrest Retirement Center in Waco.  She married Russell Morgan on April 8, 1985.  They were active in their church, Trinity Fellowship Church in McGregor, Road Riders for Jesus MM and various homeless ministries.

Rhonda is survived by her husband, Russell Morgan; daughters, Amanda Ebner and husband, Jerry, Sandra Sanders and husband, Gary; brother, Don Ray and wife, Theda; grandchildren, Skyelar Sanders, Gage Sanders, Sara McDonald, Dutch Riefler, Emily Riefler, Jeep Sanders, Granger Sanders; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to, Journey to the Streets Homeless Ministries, c/o Journey Christian Community, 10424 China Spring Rd, Waco, TX 76708.
