Robert R. Loewe

Robert Loewe, age 87, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022 in Gatesville.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel in Gatesville.  Burial will follow at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery, near the Aleman community in Hamilton County.  Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

Robert Rudolph Christian Loewe was born on December 21, 1934 to Charlie Loewe and Nettie Voges Loewe. He was a resident of Hamilton, for the majority of his life and a longtime member of Bethel United Methodist Church. He spent years of his life, in service to others from the United States Army to his work with church. His community outreach was performed by the graciousness of his heart, without the want of recognition nor reward. To know Robert was to love him.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Loewe in 2021 and survived by a large family that will miss him dearly.
