Russell Edward Davis

Russell Davis, age 56 of Gatesville passed away at his home on Tuesday, August 27, 2024.

Celebration of life services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Scott’s Funeral Home.

Russell Edward Davis was born June 23, 1968 to the late Charles and Sue Wallace Davis in Beaumont, Texas. He grew up and attended school in Beaumont, finishing high school in Gatesville after moving here during his teenage years. Once out of school, he went to work in construction, working in and around the Gatesville, Fort Hood area. During his later years, he worked as a truck driver, driving for Deep Well Energy Services out of Grapevine, Texas, where he was still employed. He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his family and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Sandy Kleshick.

Russell is survived by his two sons, Thomas Davis and Waylon Davis and wife, Chelsea; brother, Chuck Davis; grandchildren, Wyatt Davis, Levi Wilson, Journee Dean, Remi Davis, Thomas Davis, Bentley Davis, Blakely Brown, Willa Davis, Gemma Davis, Isabella Davis, and Claire Davis; and countless nieces and nephews.
