Sallie T. DeLord

Sallie DeLord, age 63, of Gatesville passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019 at her residence. Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Scott’s Funeral Home with burial following at Flint Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.

Sallie was born November 26, 1955 in Gatesville, Texas to the late Jess Thomas and Margaret Bird Blanchard. She attended school in Flat and Gatesville. She married Tommy Ray Delord on July 6, 1983 in Gatesville, Texas. Sallie loved to garden, especially growing flowers but she loved her family most of all.  

Sallie was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy DeLord and her parents.

Survivors include her children, David Ray Sneed, Wendy Kay Vogt and husband, Eric, Judy Hawrylak and husband, Paul, Kimberly DeLord-Davis, Tommy Ray, Jr.; sisters, Jessie Petereit and Bobbie Gail Blanchard; sister-in-law, Brenda White; brother-in-law, Terry DeLord; 17 grandchildren; four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
