Sue Carol Bragewitz

Sue Carol Bragewitz, age 80, of Gatesville, passed away on the morning of November 25, 2020. A Memorial service is scheduled for 2 PM, Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel. Sue was born on October 7, 1940 in Belton, Texas to the late Early Rodgers and Ruby Clay Rodgers. She married J. C. Bragewitz on October 8, 1955. Sue enjoyed cooking, feeding everyone and always had plenty so no one went hungry. If you ever had BBQ at the old Conoco in Gatesville, she made it. She was preceded in death by her husband; J. C. Bragewitz, mother; Ruby Woods, father; Early Rodgers, daughter; Gennetta, son: Kermit, sister; Peggy Smallwoods and brother; E. W. “Dub” Rodgers. Sue is survived by a daughter; Renee Sullivan of Belton, sons; Jimmy Bragewitz of Gatesville, James David Bragewitz of Missoula, Montana and Terry Bragewitz of Gatesville, grandchildren; Jimmy “Two” Bragewitz, Charlie Bragewitz, Jason Porter, Josh Bragewitz, Travis Bragewitz, Kelcy Pierce and Jolie James and 13 great Grandchildren.
