Terry Lee Haney

Terry L. Haney, age 76 of Gatesville, passed away on the morning of July 10, 2021 surrounded by his family.

Memorial services honoring Terry will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 19, 2021 at Scott's Funeral Home.

Terry was born on August 2, 1944 in Fort Worth to the late James and Clara King Haney. He graduated in 1962 and joined the Texas National Guard.  Terry would go on to become a journeyman electrician.  He worked all over Texas and Oklahoma.  Terry was an avid hunter and outdoors man. Terry loved his children and grandchildren and was a man who loved to work and worked very hard throughout his life. Terry was a member of Legacy Outfitters and enjoyed his time spent worshipping the Lord with his fellow brothers in Christ. Terry would use his talents of wood working to build cedar tables and birdhouses that many enjoy today.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Gene, Raymond and Sonny Haney.

Terry is survived by his wife, Carol Haney; daughter, Siera Haney; stepdaughters, Michelle Carter and Stephanie Bailey; grandson, Tyler Carter; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
