Tina Vrolijk

Tina Vrolijk, age 78, of Gatesville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 23, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Christina Petronella Vrolijk was born on June 15, 1946, to the late Frank and Janny Vrolijk in Leiden, Holland. At age 10, she and her family moved to California, where she attended school. After graduating from High School, she started her banking career as a teller with Bank of America. After 34 years, she retired as Operations Manager. She then went on to work as an Executive Assistant for Unisource in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, retiring from there after 14 years.

Tina was a woman of quiet strength, deep love, and unwavering kindness. She carried herself with grace and left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She loved deeply and was deeply loved in return. Her laughter, wisdom, and presence will be forever missed but never forgotten.

Tina was preceded in death by her parents, and son, Richard Allen Jones. She is survived by her daughter, Deanne Beeman and husband, Ken; stepson, Michael Logsdon and wife, Kerri; brother, Walter Parker and wife, Debra; four grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, Tina’s family asks that memorials in her honor be made to your favorite animal shelter or rescue organization.
