Toinette "Toni" Standridge

Toinette “Toni” Standridge, peacefully went to be with Jesus on Wednesday evening, February 20, 2019 at the age of 61 while surrounded by family and friends. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, February  25, 2019 at Post Oak Cemetery in Oglesby. Following the graveside service, the family will gather at FBC Oglesby Fellowship Hall to receive guests and celebrate Toni’s life. Toni was born December 1, 1957 in Sherman, Texas. She was the oldest daughter of Rosemary and Allen (Slim) Standridge. Toni loved attending school in the Connally School District of Waco. She lived the last 40 years in Oglesby, Texas where she brought much joy to her family and friends. Her favorite things to do were shuffling cards, watching old television reruns from the 60’s and 70’s and greeting customers at Mike & Stacy’s Mercantile in Oglesby. Toni was fearfully and wonderfully made. She touched and influenced countless people and somehow left each life she touched better than before. She was loved dearly by all those that knew her. Her sweet spirit and unconditional love was nothing less than a glimpse of Heaven. When it came to life, she fought the good fight, and when it came to family, she was a faithful peacemaker. HER LIFE MATTERED IMMENSELY. God put her here with a purpose—a purpose which she joyfully fulfilled. Toni was preceded in death by her parents, Rosemary and Allen Standridge. She is survived by her brother, Stacy and wife, Sherry Standridge of Oglesby; a sister, Kaye and husband, Randy Adams of Midlothian, Texas; brother, Sloan Standridge of Grand Prairie, Texas; and a brother, Joe and wife, Ginger, also of Midlothian. Her nieces and nephews are Kat Adams of Austin, TX; Rose Regan, Coy Standridge, Beth and husband, Chris Hubnik, and Ryan Standridge of Oglesby; Kenna, Cooper and Andra Standridge of Midlothian; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews who enjoyed loving on Toni every chance they got.
