Tommy Ray Anderson

Tommy Ray Anderson, age 83, of Glen Rose passed away November 21, 2024. Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 25, at 2:00 p.m. at Restland Cemetery with Pastor Wray Nunn officiating.

Tommy was born in Corsicana, Texas on April 7, 1941, to the late Neiley and Nevada Anderson. Tommy was an outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing, camping and to bar-be-que. He loved to play guitar and sing, and music was a big part of his life. He enjoyed the freedom of riding a motorcycle and he was a carpenter by trade. Tommy was a family man and enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids. He loved to sit on his front porch, drink coffee and talk to Jesus.

Tommy is preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Anderson; grandson, Brandon Anderson; great grandsons, Jace, Elijah, and Tristan; and brothers, Kenneth Malden and Calvin Anderson.

 He is survived by three sons, Steve Anderson, Kenny Anderson, and wife, Cherrie, and Michael Anderson and wife, Marsha; two daughters, Cindy Stanfield and husband, Rick, and Tammy Anderson; fifteen grandchildren; thirty-seven great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; brother, Henry Brown; sister, Boopie Sifford; and numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends including his best friends, Nolan and Julie Campbell.
