Tommy Ray DeLord

Tommy DeLord, age 68, of Flat, passed away on Friday, October 19, 2018. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Scott’s Funeral Home with burial following at Flint Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Tommy was born on May 23, 1950 to the late Thomas and Mable Sherwood DeLord in Gatesville, Texas. He attended school in Gatesville before joining the United States Army. Tommy served his country for 16 years before retiring medically. Tommy married Sallie Blanchard on July 6, 1983 in Gatesville.  In his spare time, Tommy loved to restore old trucks and listen to music. Tommy is survived by his wife, Sallie DeLord; children, Judy Hawrylak and husband, Paul, David Ray Sneed, Kimberly DeLord-Davis, Wendy Vogt and husband, Eric, Tommy Ray, Jr.; sister, Brenda White; brother, Terry DeLord; 17 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
