On February 24, 2021, Velma Louise (Kellerman) Lethco was joyously received into heaven by her Lord and Savior. Services are scheduled for 10 AM Thursday, March 4, 2021 at St. John Lutheran Church in Coryell City. Burial will follow at St. John Lutheran Cemetery. There will be an open visitation Wednesday at Scott’s Funeral Home from 10 AM to 4 PM. Velma was born on October 23, 1939 in Coryell City, Texas to Henry and Marie (Lander) Kellerman. She lived most of her life in the Coryell City and Gatesville area. She lived in California from 1963 to 1973. She married A. T. Lethco Sr. on September 19, 1973 in Gatesville, Texas. Addison and Velma lived in Ding Dong, south of Killeen, Texas for 4 years. In 1977, they moved to Coryell City where they lived the rest of their lives. They were married for 33 happy years. Velma served her community by tirelessly volunteering at her church and The Meadows nursing home. Survivors of Velma are her two stepsons, Addison Thomas Lethco of Aztec, New Mexico, and Robert Nelson Lethco of Fayetteville, North Carolina; her nieces, Sheri Poe of Hamilton, Texas; Patti Llorin of Marina,California and Ann Westmoreland of Merced, California; her nephew, Tommy Lee Shea of Hartsville, Tennessee; and numerous great- nieces, nephews and cousins; and many dear friends and neighbors. Velma was preceded in death by her husband, A. T. in 2007: her parents, Henry and Marie; her sisters, Laverne Shea and Bonnie Fugate; her brother, Wesley Kellerman. The family wishes to thank all of Velma's much-loved fellow church members, her many dear friends and neighbors. Every one of you all took loving care of her and were always there for her. Memorial contributions in Velma's name can be made to St. John Lutheran Church and Coryell City Volunteer Fire Department.
