Velma Jordan (Sug) Wilkinson was born Feb. 11, 1943 in Lampasas Texas to the late Bill and Ollie Jordan. She graduated from Lampasas High School in 1961. Velma married the love of her life Mack Wilkinson March 4, 1961. Velma and Mack traveled across the country as he worked for Brown and Root. Velma was a stay-at-home mom who dedicated herself to their two daughters, and always making sure Mack was well taken care of. They moved to Bee House in 1984 where they resided for 37 years. Sug passed away on June 10, 2021 surrounded by her beloved family. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 15th 2021 at 11:00 AM at Scott’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Pearl Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Pearl Community Center following the interment. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Ollie; husband, Mack; daughter, Ronda; sister, Edna; and two brothers, Bill and Joe. She was survived by one daughter, Debbie Brock and husband Ted; grandchildren, Chris Brock, Morgan Brock, Zane Newton, Ciera Newton, Jordan Brock, and Sarah Brock; great grandchildren, Allison, Talon, Gentry, Jaxon, Cannon, Maddox and Colby; sisters, Delma Smith (her twin), Patsy Williams, and Anna Phelps; brother, Winston Jordan and a host of nieces and nephews. Velma traveled the world through books. She was an avid reader, and word search worker. She thoroughly enjoyed playing games with her family, especially her twin sister Delma. She never cheated, but Mack sure would! The family request memorials be made to the Pearl cemetery or St. Judes.
