Gregory Steven Smith

Gregory Steven Smith, age 38 of Gatesville, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2011 in Flat, Texas. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2011 at the Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel. Gregory was born on March 21, 1973 in Hammond, Indiana. He graduated from Gatesville High School in 1992. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Flat. He never met a stranger, was a friend to all and was always willing to help others. He is survived by his parents, Tanya and Harold Baustian of Flat; biological mother, Shirley Smith of Flat; grandparents, Doris Jackson of Flat and Cargile Jackson of Calliham; sister, Valerie Baustian Huse and husband David of Frisco; brothers, Jeff Smith of Gatesville and Harold Baustian, Jr. of Cypress.
